Please take care of your assets that you own and get the security system installed.
In the last two months, three residential burglaries occurred in the area of Fieldstone Blvd N and Shadyview Ln N. In all incidents, the suspect(s) forced open a rear sliding glass or patio door and stole jewelry.

♦ 6400 block of Alvarado Ln N on 10/24/2013 between 9:30 am and 2:50 pm
♦ 6300 block of Merrimac Ln N on 09/03/2013 at approx. 8:42 pm
Maple Grove Police are asking people to be aware of suspicious activity, vehicles and individuals, and to call 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY.
If you observed suspicious activity (unfamiliar vehicles parked on the street, people walking in yards) around the time of these incidents, please report activity to the Maple Grove Police Department by contacting Detective Travis Pobuda at 763-494-6195. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or text “TIP674” then your tip to CRIMES (274637).
TIPS
» Keep doors locked and garage doors closed at all times.
» Leave lights on timers to make your home look occupied.
» Turn on talk radio or a TV to give the impression that someone is home.
» Make sure your personal property inventory is current, record serial numbers, photograph jewelry, and keep this record in a discreet location.
» Store valuable property, specifically jewelry, in a secure location (i.e. safe).
» If home and someone knocks on your door or rings doorbell, check to see who it is. You are not obligated to answer the door, but you are showing the home is occupied.
